Leh Ladakh, Sham Valley and Nubra Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Day 2
Continue the drive to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, located at an altitude of about 3,600 meters, built in memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Further ahead, visit the famous Magnetic Hill, a natural wonder where vehicles appear to move uphill against gravity.
Next, visit the scenic Sangam Point near Nimmu village, where the Indus River flowing from Tibet meets the Zanskar River from the Zanskar Valley. Proceed further to Alchi Monastery, one of the most celebrated monasteries of Ladakh, dating back to the 11th century and renowned for its ancient wall paintings and unique architecture.
Later, visit Likir Monastery, originally built in the 11th century and rebuilt in the 18th century, which houses a magnificent 25-feet tall gold-covered statue of Lord Buddha. After completing the sightseeing, drive back to Leh by evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Day 3
Continue the descent into Nubra Valley, popularly known as Ldumra, meaning the Valley of Flowers. Located between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges, Nubra Valley lies at an average altitude of about 10,000 feet above sea level and is known for its fertile landscapes, sand dunes, and contrasting scenery.
Upon arrival, check in at your camp or hotel in Hunder. After some rest, you may take a leisurely walk around the nearby villages to observe the local lifestyle and culture of this remote Himalayan region. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp/hotel in Nubra Valley.
Day 4
Later, visit Diskit, the headquarters of Nubra Valley, and spend some time exploring the local market and observing the daily life of the local people. Continue the journey towards Pangong Lake via the adventurous Agham and Shyok Valley route, known for its rugged terrain, river crossings, and spectacular mountain scenery.
Although some stretches of this route are challenging, the journey is extremely scenic and rewarding. Pass through small villages of the Changthang region before arriving at the breathtaking Pangong Lake, situated at an altitude of approximately 14,000 feet (4,267 meters). Upon arrival, check in at your camp/hotel near the lake. Dinner and overnight stay at Pangong Lake.
Day 5
Later, drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,590 ft / 5,486 m), one of the highest mountains passes in the world. En route, visit Hemis Monastery, the largest monastic foundation of the Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. Continue to Thiksey Monastery, an impressive multi-tiered complex perched on a hill, often compared to the Potala Palace of Lhasa.
Proceed further to Shey Palace, the ancient capital of Ladakh, and visit the famous Rancho School (3 Idiots School). After completing the sightseeing, drive to Leh. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Day 6
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. You will be transferred to Leh Domestic Airport in time to board your flight for onward destination. The tour concludes with unforgettable memories of Ladakh’s stunning landscapes, monasteries, and high-altitude adventures.

- 2. Check-In / Check-out time at all the properties would at 12:00 hrs. (Noon)
- 3. The Samsara Holidays will not bear any cost for flight cancellation or delay due to Bad weather or any other reason given by the airline. Cost for accommodation and transport in such cases will have to be borne by passenger by at own.
- 4. There would be no refund for the roadblocks at Nubra Valley | Pangong Lake & Tsomoriri Lake due to natural calamity. The alternate accommodation Cost at Leh due to the same should be bear by the passenger directly.
- 5. No Refund or Compensation for any unused services or transport in any kind of circumstance.
- 6. No refund in case of No Show.
- 7. No changes in the date of travel once booked.

In case the accommodation is not available at any of the above-mentioned hotels we shall book alternate accommodation at a similar or next best available hotel and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable) to you.
